basic information

■Issue: How to remove foreign substances from the washing water of blue sheets The plastic industry is currently facing environmental issues such as CO2 emissions from manufacturing and incineration, as well as the problem of plastic waste, due to its reliance on petroleum-derived materials. As the top domestic manufacturer of blue sheets, which are plastic products, the company has launched Japan's first used blue sheet recycling project, "ReVALUE+," as part of the industry's overall promotion of SDGs. A major challenge in this project was the "foreign substance separation issue," which involved how to remove foreign substances (such as soil and sand) from the washing water of blue sheets. ■Reason for Selection: High performance, maintainability, improvement of work efficiency and environment There are several methods for separating foreign substances from dirty washing water. The company conducted experiments using various methods but was unable to achieve satisfactory results. Just when they were about to give up, they were introduced to FILSTAR by another company. Upon conducting experiments, they found that it had separation performance beyond their expectations. Furthermore, the fact that it does not require cleaning or replacing dirty filters promised significant improvements in maintenance, work efficiency, and work environment, which became the decisive factor for selection and implementation. ―Please download to see the continuation―
