Industrial Equipment Industry / Interview with Rexxus Co., Ltd. on Foundry Cleaning Tank Cleaning
Attention those struggling with coolant tank cleaning! We will introduce a case that significantly reduced the burden of tank cleaning!
We conducted an interview with a customer who has introduced our products. The fifth installment features an article about Rex Industries, Inc., which boasts the top market share in Japan for pipe machines (thread cutting machines). ■ Rex Industries, Inc. ■ As a comprehensive manufacturer of piping equipment, Rex Industries specializes in the manufacturing and sales of piping tools and environmental equipment, and holds the top market share in Japan for pipe machines (thread cutting machines). They aim to create a comfortable working environment as a "working amenity creation company" and are committed to solving various troubles and challenges related to piping facilities. Their business includes planning, development, design, manufacturing, and sales of pipe machines, various cutting machines, fusion machines, copper pipe tools, diamond machine tools, and environmental equipment, as well as water treatment and hose (horse) amenity businesses. This time, we interviewed Mr. Tsutomu Terao and Mr. Yuichi Katagiri from the manufacturing department. We discussed the effects of introducing our filters in the sludge recovery and tank cleaning processes in the casting cutting and processing stages. As a result of introducing our filters, we received feedback that it led to improvements in the working environment, product quality, and workplace satisfaction and motivation. Please take a look.
basic information
■Issue: Burden of Cleaning Tanks with Large Amounts of Sludge The company is a leading provider of piping equipment and tools used for construction and maintenance of essential social infrastructure such as gas and water supply systems. The equipment manufactured by the company uses cast materials, which generate a large amount of sludge (cutting chips) during the cutting and processing stages. As a result, a significant amount of sludge accumulates in the cleaning tank, necessitating regular tank cleaning. The cleaning work for the tank is labor-intensive and has a considerable impact on the workplace environment. ■Reason for Selection: High-precision filtration allowed for the removal of large amounts of sludge in a short time The company was looking for a device capable of removing sludge and sediment from the cleaning tank, but most options were either too large or had cumbersome filter replacement processes, making it difficult to find a suitable solution. During this search, they learned about FILSTAR and requested a demonstration from industria, who promptly responded. The demonstration showed that despite its small size, it could remove large amounts of sludge in a short time. Moreover, since filter replacement was not required, they quickly decided to implement it. —We hope you will download and view the continuation—
