Ultra-precise micro-machining of brittle materials such as ceramics is possible with vibrations at 40,000 times per second.
The "ultrasonic spindle" is a product that transmits designed vibrations to the tool tip, providing high precision and ultra-precision machining while suppressing tool deflection. The outer diameter of the spindle has become very compact, at one-third the size of our conventional models. This allows it to be installed on many small machines. Additionally, the spindle can achieve rotational speeds more than twice that of conventional models. It is also possible to customize it to fit the machines currently used by our customers.
