The apricot PP5 is a space-saving device that consolidates the functions of multiple pipettors into one, making it suitable for both production environments and laboratories. With accurate, reliable, and highly reproducible automation, it minimizes repetitive tasks, eliminates pipetting errors, and enhances productivity. Its intuitive interface, compact automatic deck with five plate positions, and optional active tip wash or reagent reservoir station simplify multiple dispensing processes and significantly speed them up. It is designed for pipetting with 8, 12, 16, 24, 96, or 384 channels and for automatic reformatting from 12 to 96 and 96 to 1536. It enables screening, high-throughput and lab automation, and automatic dispensing in microplates. It also supports serial dilution (stepwise dilution) both vertically and horizontally.

Unique EZ-load chip technology

Chips are arranged in an array on a flat plate. This plate chip is placed into an insert holder and attached to the dispensing head for use.

This technology allows for 96 or 384 chips to be mounted on the head with uniform pressure, ensuring high dispensing uniformity. It also prevents the chips from falling off.
