The W-PIN stator features a coil shape formed continuously into a wave-like configuration using rectangular wire, making it a next-generation stator that combines high filling rate and space-saving design. Compared to traditional hairpin structures, it allows for a reduction in coil end height, enabling the miniaturization and lightweight design of motors. There is already a track record of mass production implementation for motors used in HEVs. 【Features】 - It is possible to design the coil end height to be more than 10% lower than that of hairpin stators. - Welding of coil ends is unnecessary. - Unlike hairpin stators, there is no need for jointing at each turn, which eliminates the need for twisting, pre-coil cutting, and welding processes, thereby reducing complex process management.
