<Demo unit available> Tube pump Quantum for bioprocessing
Ultra-low pulsation (0.012MPa), 20L/min (0.3MPa) - a pump for bioprocesses that dramatically improves ultra-low shear and operability.
Innovative ReNu SU Technology cartridges, which have already obtained patents, and the well-known BioPure product line (including fittings, gaskets, clamps, and high-pressure transfer tubes) are effectively integrated as single-use fluid path components. This comprehensive approach significantly reduces the cost and time associated with pump evaluations designated for single-use systems (SUS) for the first time. The ReNu SU Technology cartridges are provided with industry-leading validation guides. These guides comprehensively detail biocompatibility data and material tests such as USP88, Class VI (in vivo), and USP87 (in vitro). Detailed extractables testing with various solvents in accordance with BPOG and BPSA guidelines is also conducted. This validation guide supports your validation process and helps shorten the overall time to market.
basic information
• Gradual changes in bioprocess pump capacity, achieving linearity of flow rates up to 20L/min at 0.3MPa, with pulsation at 0.012MPa. • Using the patented ReNu SU Technology cartridge, Quantum achieves ultra-low shear, increasing the yield of downstream processes. • Quantum is the first pump capable of verification in accordance with BPOG/BPSA/USP/ISO guidelines with a control ratio of 4000:1.

Quantum Tube Pump for Bioprocesses
Applications/Examples of results
We confidently announce the new product Quantum, a tube pump for bioprocesses equipped with the patented ReNu SU Technology cartridge. Quantum brings significant transformation to pump technology, improving yield in downstream processes across the entire pressure range and outperforming all other pumps for bioprocesses in terms of performance. It is specifically designed for tangential flow filtration (TFF), virus filtration (VF), and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). It demonstrates linearity of flow rates up to 20L/min (LPM) across the entire single-use process pressure range of 0.3MPa, with virtually no pulsation (pressure stability at +/-0.012MPa), making it an exceptionally excellent product. With a control ratio of 4000:1, the servo valve maintains a constant transmembrane pressure (TMP) for precise filtration and ultrafiltration, eliminating the past limitations of a 200:1 control ratio in HPLC gradient analysis. The shear of Quantum is half that of diaphragm pumps, and it shows accurate flow rates at set speeds over the cartridge's lifespan, eliminating the need for auxiliary flow monitoring.
