[Case Study] Stable Transfer of High Viscosity Yeast Liquid Up to Approximately 100 Meters Using a Sine Pump
Reduce yeast recovery time by up to 7 hours - Sign Pump Series Certa
At the Licher Brewery in Germany, two centrifugal pumps were used to transfer high-viscosity yeast liquid from fermentation tanks. However, the transfer through long piping lines took 8 to 10 hours and required auxiliary pumps. To address this, the MasoSine Certa Compact 300 was introduced. With its powerful suction and low-shear sine pump technology, it reliably transfers high-viscosity yeast liquid through approximately 100 meters of piping. The process that previously took 8 to 10 hours was reduced to just 2 to 3 hours, consolidating the operation that was done with two centrifugal pumps into one Certa pump. Additionally, it contributes to reduced power consumption, decreased mechanical stress on the yeast, and automation of the process due to stable flow rates.
