The "NH3 CAN Module" is a CAN output device for measuring NH3 (ammonia) in the exhaust of diesel and other lean-burn engines. It aids in the development of SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems and compensates the exhaust NOx (nitrogen oxides) sensor in response to NH3 cross-sensitivity.
