The Kvaser U100 is a robust single-channel CAN/CAN FD to USB interface with enhanced galvanic isolation that directly addresses the needs of the evolving automotive development market. It is fully compatible with J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000, and DeviceNet, making it the first product in a series of interfaces suitable for harsh applications in marine, industrial, heavy vehicles, and heavy industry. With an IP67 protection rating, it is not limited by the operating environment. You can choose from a variety of connector options.

● Supports CAN FD with a maximum of 8 Mbit/s (with appropriate physical layer implementation). ● Supports both 11-bit (CAN 2.0A) and 29-bit (CAN 2.0B active) identifiers. ● Lightweight glass fiber reinforced polyamide housing, overmolded with TPE. ● Selection of connector variations available (DSUB9, J1939-13 Type II, M12 5-pin, OBD II, USB Type C). ● Intelligent LED UI. ● Enhanced galvanic isolation, 5000 VAC rms applied for 60 seconds. ● 20000 msg/s, with each timestamp recorded at a resolution of 100 μs. ● Supports SocketCAN. ● Fully compatible with applications created for other Kvaser CAN hardware using Kvaser CANlib. ● Compatible with J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000, and DeviceNet. Upper-layer protocol conversion is handled by the user's application.
