Cellulose acetate type membrane filter
It has the characteristic of low adsorption of proteins and is widely used for particle removal and filtration sterilization.
Due to its excellent strength, it is easy to handle when setting the filter in the filtration device, and it can withstand autoclave sterilization, ethylene oxide gas sterilization, and dry heat sterilization (180°C). Because the material is inert, components of the filtrate such as proteins are rarely adsorbed onto the filter.
