PTFE type membrane filter
It is a porous membrane filter made solely from tetrafluoroethylene resin.
Due to its excellent chemical resistance, it is not affected by most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. It also possesses many characteristics such as uniformity, surface wettability, and fiber non-detachability. It can be used in a temperature range of -120°C to 260°C and is capable of sterilization using steam, autoclave, and ethylene oxide gas. Because it has water-repellent properties, it does not allow oil and organic solvents to pass through while being impermeable to water. It does not degrade or change under a wide range of conditions and is hardly affected by ultraviolet light.
