The fourth industrial revolution in human history, known as "Industry 4.0," has recently garnered attention as a key factor in promoting economic growth in domestic industries and has become a focus area for the nation. In 2016, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry signed a "Joint Statement on Cooperation in IoT/Industry 4.0" with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Advantech, which provides solutions based on three pillars: Industry 4.0, IoT, and smart cities, will hold a forum at this event to discuss the steps toward realizing the "fourth industrial revolution" and the future vision and initiatives in Japan's economic landscape, welcoming partner companies that are focusing on IoT in Japan.
