Advantech will hold the Advantech IoT47 project on June 21 (Wednesday) in Yokohama, focusing on the themes of Industry 4.0 and smart cities.

Advantech Co., Ltd. will hold "Advantech IoT47 in Yokohama" at Pacifico Yokohama on Wednesday, June 21, showcasing examples of IoT that realize Industry 4.0 and smart cities. The Advantech IoT47 project aims to enhance IoT literacy in local areas, with Advantech forming strong partnerships with local companies and leveraging the know-how cultivated over many years in the industrial sector to provide the latest information on technologies surrounding IoT, as well as Advantech IoT solutions. After starting in Kanazawa in February, the event has been held in numerous locations including Nagano, Shizuoka, and Hyogo. This time, Yokohama, selected as a "Regional IoT Promotion Lab" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the IoT Promotion Lab in March of this year, will be the venue. Scheduled speakers include Masato Yamashita, a member of the Yokohama City Council, who will discuss "Yokohama, a Future City Developed by IoT," and Takayuki Nakamura from the Yokohama City Economic Bureau's Manufacturing Support Division, who will present "I・TOP Yokohama – Yokohama City as a Hub for IoT Business," along with presentations from Network Corporation, Microsoft Japan, and Kyocera Communication Systems Corporation, among others.
