We received a request from a customer using a power supply unit manufactured several decades ago, asking for repairs due to a malfunction. Many of the components are discontinued, and the manufacturer has also ceased support, which is why they consulted us. While there was an option to replace it with a new power supply unit, they were planning to replace the entire equipment soon, so we proposed an overhaul that would only involve replacing the electrolytic capacitors and other components with a limited lifespan.
