We received a request to develop a power supply unit that can be used in salt-damaged areas, with a waterproof structure that can also withstand salt damage. The housing used for the power supply unit has been designed with an IP67 equivalent waterproof structure. Additionally, while we previously used aluminum housings, corrosion due to salt damage was occurring, so we developed a stainless steel case. By using a gasket in the gap between the case and the lid, we thoroughly implemented measures against salt damage and prevention.
