This is a case study of an AC/DC power supply for sequencers (PLC) applications. We consolidated two models of power supply units manufactured for both domestic and overseas markets into one model and conducted design development. By incorporating input harmonic suppression circuits that are not typically found in general products, we are able to accommodate both domestic and international standards.
