[Case Study] Testing Solutions for Difficult-to-Discharge Materials with Rotary Valve and De-agglomerator
[Problem Solving] Even highly cohesive fine powders can be handled effectively! “Optimal Conditions” identified through practical testing.
Are you experiencing difficulties discharging fine powders that are highly cohesive and prone to forming lumps? In this case study, we focus on the discharge risks caused by material characteristics—such as jamming and adhesion—and on the downstream issues that arise when powders are discharged in agglomerated form. To address these challenges, we conducted real machine testing and identified the optimal conditions for both de-agglomeration and discharge. At Aisin Industry, comparative tests were carried out using two types of equipment: a rotary valve and a De-agglomerator. By evaluating the performance of each, we clarified the most suitable processing conditions for the material. Thanks to our extensive range of in-house testing machines, we can conduct trials under conditions that closely replicate actual usage environments. Based on reliable data, we propose practical and effective countermeasures for handling even the most difficult-to-discharge materials. ・ ・ ・ ▼ Please download the materials to see the solutions to this issue.
