In traditional measurements using electronic balances (weighing method), it takes a significant amount of time to collect and measure hundreds to thousands of droplets at once. This method only provides the "average value," making it impossible to grasp the variation (size fluctuations) of individual droplets or to detect defective droplets individually, while also carrying the risk of human error due to manual handling. VERMES's "DVS Droplet Volume Measurement System" is an automated flow sensor measurement system that resolves all these issues. By incorporating a sensor device (DVD) directly into the discharge line of the VERMES valve in an inline design, it automatically calculates and verifies the discharge amount for each droplet without interrupting production at all. In production environments such as life sciences, semiconductors, and electronics, where strict management is required, it achieves a dramatic improvement in yield while minimizing waste costs.
