Hyogo Prefectural University was established in 2004 through the integration of three prefectural universities: Kobe University of Commerce, Himeji Institute of Technology, and Hyogo Prefectural University of Nursing. It is a comprehensive university with six faculties, nine graduate schools, and five attached research institutes. One of the university's missions is to "contribute to and revitalize the local community," and it actively promotes research collaboration and academic exchange with the industrial sector, working to return and open research seeds and academic resources to the local community. In 2025, it signed a partnership agreement with the Amagasaki Regional Industry Revitalization Organization to carry out collaborative activities that support the revitalization of the local economy and businesses in a broad and efficient manner. This fair will showcase and introduce some of these activities and the university's research seeds.

The Amagasaki Regional Industry Revitalization Organization, a public interest incorporated foundation, aims to revitalize the local community and industry in Amagasaki City by conducting research and studies to solve urban issues and various projects to promote industry. In addition to supporting commercial revitalization projects and handling applications for commercial subsidies and grants, the organization also manages applications for industrial subsidies and grants, awards programs, industrial consultation services, and supports industry revitalization through industry-academia collaboration. Furthermore, in addition to hosting computer classes, the organization conducts practical research studies linked to industrial promotion policies and initiatives.
