100GbE compatible network interface card
100Gbps compatible, wide bandwidth and low latency network interface card. Supports iWARP and offloads various protocols.
The network interface cards from "Chelsio Communications" that we handle can offload various layer protocols over 10/25/40/50/100GbE. Additionally, they communicate storage and GPU processing data required for High Performance Computing over standard TCP/IP protocols, implementing RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access) with TCP/IP through iWARP, and allowing direct access to GPU memory between devices via GPUDirect RDMA. Unlike InfiniBand, they are highly compatible with common network devices for transmission over IP networks, making it easier for IP network engineers and network integrators to integrate them into IP networks they design.
basic information
iWARP (Internet Wide Area RDMA Protocol) enables the implementation of remote direct memory access (RDMA) between devices over TCP/IP. By implementing RDMA over TCP/IP, it is possible to transmit RDMA over standard IP network devices. With the network interface cards we offer, it is possible to transmit the RDMA of NVIDIA® GPUs mounted in a separate chassis over IP networks using iWARP.
