We would like to introduce our "Identification Test of White Powders using X-ray Diffraction (XRD)." When an unknown substance is encountered, elemental analysis is typically conducted; however, elemental analysis alone cannot identify the substance. The XRD method is a technique that can identify substances and also determine different crystal polymorphs represented by the same chemical formula. By identifying the substance, information about the source material and factors of generation can be obtained, as well as information regarding countermeasures and recurrence prevention measures.
