Case: The jack system slides the Holbrook Canal into the designated position.
Maintain recovery measures from displacement and wedges in bridge structures! A case of providing hydraulic solutions.
Minimizing the time that State Route 266 is closed was a primary objective when reconstructing the bridge over the Holbrook Canal. The new bridge was initially used as a detour while the defective bridge was being demolished, but once the old bridge was taken down, the new bridge needed to be slid into place at the original bridge's location. To achieve this, Enerpac provided a hydraulic solution that could push the new 44.5-foot bridge structure into position using a lateral sliding method with PTFE slide elements. The slide was completed in 52 minutes. **Case Summary** - Customer: Kiewit (United States) - Products: RR Series double-acting hydraulic cylinders, ZU Series hydraulic pumps - Result: The slide was completed in 52 minutes. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
