The "online seminar?" that we informed you about in previous news has become a reality. Since this is our first time using an online format, we are currently practicing how to proceed, but there were some unexpected issues that we learned from the organizers. 1) Participants may not be able to install the software. 2) Some participants may not be able to turn on their cameras. These are the two points. In a seminar held in person, there are "practical exercises," but in an online format, we cannot allocate time for participants to think. We anticipated this and were preparing to implement the new items we added this time. In the first half, the "explanation of image processing principles" involves participants performing the explained operations on the venue's PC, but those who cannot install the software will only be able to watch the instructor's screen, raising concerns about how much they will actually learn. Furthermore, not being able to use cameras makes it difficult to gauge whether the participants are understanding the material. When we can see participants' faces in person, we can adjust our explanations if something seems unclear.
