[Exhibition Demo Review] Reconsideration of the Exhibition Demo at the Tech Horizon Group Solution Fair

I reflected on the initial demonstration of the "QR Code Multi-Focus Reading" and considered improvements for the next exhibition. One point of reflection is that we displayed three demos at the venue, but we received feedback that this particular demo was "not immediately recognizable as an image processing demo." We wanted to showcase that we developed technology to read QR codes placed on boxes at different distances using a webcam. However, no one who only saw the demo understood this without verbal explanation, which meant we couldn't convey our valuable technology. However, there were also reactions that made me think, "I don't want to stop this demo." After the explanation, there were discussions like, "We are an optical system manufacturer and have prototyped something that can change focus quickly, but we are considering what to use it for. How about collaborating for a display?" and suggestions like, "What if we place a toy forklift at the exhibition and attach a camera to it to move it?" Since it is an exhibition, if attendees don't take a glance and wonder, "What is that?" they won't stop by. We also learned that if the technology is communicated effectively, people might say, "I wanted that." *News is distributed through our company newsletter.
