Reverse engineering of mechanical parts and resin products using "spScan".
Reverse engineering mechanical components such as screws and gears!
Mechanical components require precise 3D modeling because the accuracy of their shape and surface treatment directly affects product performance. spScan easily reproduces solid shapes based on point cloud data from non-contact scanning. It allows for intuitive functions such as rotational copying of shapes while reflecting the fitting accuracy with polygons, making it easy to create reverse surfaces. Solid modeling that meets the desired accuracy is possible even with complex primitive surface configurations. Additionally, it features multiple reverse methods (patch surfaces, CAD surfaces, partial reverse) that can be selected according to the application and modification scope of the parts, significantly reducing the time and effort from design to evaluation and remanufacturing.
basic information
"spScan" is a reverse engineering software that can create high-quality surfaces from point cloud measurements. It is utilized as a tool to support product design and analysis in various manufacturing industries, including automotive, home appliances, and medical devices. With ongoing development and improvements, it is equipped with features that reflect the diverse needs of users. It enables surface creation tailored to specific purposes, such as "reproducing faithful shapes with minimal error from point clouds" and "creating smooth surfaces with fewer control points." 【Features】 ■ Surface Creation ■ Evaluation Functions ■ Design ■ Analysis ■ Design and Prototyping *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
