[spScan Use Case] Higashi Ko Industrial Co., Ltd.

We spoke with the Mold Division of Higashi Ko Industrial Co., Ltd. about the utilization of "spScan." Initially, we planned to introduce only a three-dimensional measuring machine for precision measurement of the press die panels, but upon the recommendation of Tokyo Boeki Techno System, the supplier of the measuring machine, we decided to implement "spScan." By introducing "spScan," it has become possible to create CAD data from molds after manual adjustments, making it easier to recreate damaged parts. [Case Overview] ■ Reason for Selection: Ability to model 3D shapes without reproducibility issues; compatibility with the CAD/CAM software "Cimatron" was not a problem. ■ Utilization Status: Utilizing the reverse function for repairing damaged molds and recreating parts. ■ Effect: Reduced risk of re-damage due to excessive repairs, maintaining a stable mass production system. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
