We would like to introduce a case where a carbide cutter blade was supplied for cutting polyurethane insulation material that has aluminum foil laminated on the surface. While standard blade materials can cut polyurethane without any issues, we prioritized the hardness of the blade due to the aluminum composite material and selected carbide alloy. If conditions are met, using a carbide blade can provide durability up to 20 times that of carbon steel (SK material).
