This product is a 3U VPX conduction-cooled front-removable storage board. It is suitable for applications that require data mobility at the edge and has been developed in accordance with the SOSA technical standard. The TR MS7/600, equipped with two storage modules using high-bandwidth Gen 3 PCI Express (PCIe) connections and NVMe protocol, is ideal for applications in the defense and aerospace markets. The main advantage of the TR MS7/600 is that it allows users to safely remove or replace storage modules from the front, compared to other conduction-cooled storage products from Concurrent Technologies. The TR MS7/600 is designed to operate in harsh shock and vibration environments ranging from -40°C to +85°C. The included solid storage modules provide excellent reliability and are available in capacities ranging from 480GB to 3.8TB. This results in a product with approximately 8TB of usable storage capacity based on current generation modules. It also optionally supports data destruction functionality.

The storage module supports hardware write protection and complies with Opal 2.0 for data-at-rest protection. By using PCIe connections from the expansion plane on the host board, it significantly improves read and write throughput compared to traditional SATA interface-based storage products.
