As part of the technological development aimed at realizing a carbon-neutral society, the chemical industry is considering the transition to low-carbon raw materials such as bio-based feedstocks. Additionally, by applying biosciences used in various fields such as healthcare, agriculture, forestry, livestock, and fisheries, there is also the possibility of changing processes from traditional chemical reaction processes that require high temperature and pressure to more environmentally friendly bioprocesses.
