Aspen OptiPlant 3D Layout is a 3D layout design tool developed for layout consideration and MTO (Material Take Off, bulk material quantity surveying) evaluation, featuring automatic piping routing capabilities. OptiPlant is designed to enable 3D layout design by inputting the minimum necessary information, such as equipment dimensions and placement coordinates, as parameters, without requiring specialized skills typically needed for CAD tools. With its automatic piping routing function and material quantity surveying capabilities for piping bulk materials and structures, it allows for the comparison of various layout proposals in a short period. Furthermore, by integrating with AspenTech's cost estimation tool, Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE), it enables a seamless evaluation up to cost estimation. It is now widely adopted as a standard FEED support software by many plant owners and engineering companies, being utilized in daily operations.
