Aspen Exchanger Design and Rating (EDR) enables rapid and highly accurate design and analysis for various types of heat exchangers, based on 50 years of research results from HTFS. With EDR, it is possible to easily estimate the required heat transfer rate, overall heat transfer coefficient, and necessary heat transfer area under operating conditions, thereby improving the workflow related to heat exchangers. Additionally, physical property data such as Aspen Properties included in EDR can also be utilized.
