[CAE Solution Case] Visualization of Vacuum/Pressure Forming

Technical data presentation in progress! Achieving reduction of rework through ASU/V-Struct analysis.

We would like to introduce a CAE solution case using the structural analysis software 'ASU/V-Struct' for visualizing vacuum/pressure forming. In vacuum/pressure forming, heated resin sheets are pressed against molds for shaping. As a result, variations in the thickness of the molded products are likely to occur, and if the thickness becomes extremely thin, issues such as insufficient strength arise, leading to defective products. Additionally, defects such as wrinkles on the molded products can occur. If such problems can be identified and addressed in advance through analysis, it can reduce rework related to defects and help control labor costs.
