High-angle support, high-speed gimbal drive stage

In recent years, a laser incidence angle of >45° has been required for laser processing. The proposal from ALIO Industries is the 5D Laser Gimbal. By embedding a seemingly complex drive system of high-precision gimbal drive, high-precision monolithic XY, and Z-axis combination into the multi-axis interpolation controller, users can achieve high-speed and high-precision synchronization control of the stage and laser (on/off, power, etc.) with a simple GUI.

■ Capable of reproducing angles exceeding 45° with high precision. By combining orthogonal two-axis rotation stages with a Monolithic XY stage, control is possible at any defined rotation center. Since a two-axis rotation stage is used, control of large angles can be performed quickly. ■ User-friendly controller method. The synchronization calculations for the two-axis rotation and XY stage are embedded in the controller, allowing users to control via coordinate control. Not only does it synchronize the operating axes, but it also achieves high-speed and high-precision control of laser processing machines through fast synchronization control of the laser's On/Off and power control. ■ Adoption of high-performance motors/optical encoders. By using top-tier products from leading manufacturers in Europe and the U.S., it achieves not only accuracy but also high reliability. MTBF > 100,000 hours. ■ Direct assembly with various stages is possible. It is possible to directly mount over 400 types of stages without using adapter plates.
