We will be exhibiting at the 2024 Model Engineering Conference.
The "Mold Technology Conference 2024" will be held over two days from June 20 (Thursday) to June 21 (Friday) at the Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO. The theme for this event is "Let's Create! Mold Technology that Opens Up the Future." AutoForm Japan Co., Ltd. will participate in both exhibitions and presentations! Press 1 (Analysis) Small Exhibition Hall 2nd Floor 403 - High-Precision Sheet Metal Forming Analysis Using a Moving Hardening Material Model Considering SD Effects In line with the trend of vehicle lightweighting, the use of aluminum and high-strength steel sheets is increasing. Forming analysis for evaluating the formability of such sheet materials is actively conducted, utilizing various material models. This research developed a material model that considers the Strength Differential Effect (SD Effect) and moving hardening, and introduced this developed material model into the AutoForm R&D Plugin. The existing material models and the developed model were incorporated into the forming analysis, and the results were compared and evaluated.

Announcement of a free webinar hosted by AutoForm Japan in November and December.
We will explain the overview of the fundamental theories related to materials that have been in high demand until now, as well as how to utilize them in AutoForm. We will also cover the yield surface and the Yoshida-Uemori model, which you may be interested in, as part of the moving hardening model. < Event Overview > Material Properties Edition (Total of 4 Sessions) ■ Material Property 1: Tensile Test and Stress-Strain Diagram - Differences between elongation and strain, load and stress, etc. Date and Time: November 19 (Thursday) 17:00 ~ 17:30 ■ Material Property 2: Anisotropy (r-value) and Yield Function (Yield Surface) - What is anisotropy? etc. Date and Time: November 26 (Thursday) 17:00 ~ 17:30 ■ Material Property 3: Moving Hardening Law (Yoshida-Uemori Model) - Reasons why the moving hardening law is effective for bending and springback deformation, etc. Date and Time: December 3 (Thursday) 17:00 ~ 17:30 ■ Material Property 4: Fracture Prediction using FLD/FLC (Forming Limit Diagram/Forming Limit Curve) - How to read FLD (deformation modes and deformation history), etc. Date and Time: December 10 (Thursday) 17:00 ~ 17:30 For more details, please visit here. https://www.autoform.com/jp/newsroom/events/
