【Presentation of Materials】What is a lithium-ion battery?
Lightweight and high energy density! Used in familiar mobile devices such as laptops, mobile phones, and power tools.
Lithium batteries are used in familiar mobile devices such as laptops, mobile phones, and power tools, as well as in larger products like electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems. Their features include being "lightweight," having "high energy density," "low self-discharge," and "long cycle life." Typically, the negative electrode is made of graphite, the positive electrode consists of lithium oxide, and the electrolyte is composed of liquid or gel-like organic lithium salts. When lithium atoms (Li) release electrons (e⁻) and move between the negative and positive electrodes, current flows due to the difference in electron energy. [Features] ■ Lightweight ■ High energy density ■ Low self-discharge ■ Long cycle life *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
