Stainless steel stub end for piping (lap joint)

Cost reduction is possible due to improvements in operational efficiency!

Compared to welding construction with direct attachment of pipes and flanges, using a stub end incurs higher component costs. However, during on-site installation, it does not require positioning or alignment of bolt holes, making the construction easier and ultimately leading to cost reduction when considered as a whole. At Benkan Kiko, we stock four types of 10k type with materials SUS304, SUS304L, SUS316, and SUS316L. Please feel free to contact us for estimates or inquiries.

basic information

The product I would like to introduce this time is a stainless steel stub end (lap joint) for piping. A stub end (lap joint) is a pipe fitting that has a flange at the end and is used in combination with a loose flange. (Hereafter referred to as a stub end.) The general method of using a stub end is to combine it with a loose flange. When connected, since the steel pipe and flange are not directly welded, the loose flange can rotate freely. Therefore, when attaching to the opposing flange with bolts and nuts, it is possible to adjust the position of the bolt holes of the loose flange freely by rotating only the loose flange without rotating the piping itself in the axial direction.
