The welded pipe fittings we supplied this time are made of stainless steel, model 90-45EL, material SUS304W, sizes 600A and 400A, with a thickness of S10S. We believe that stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion, is essential for the river water with strong acidity used in hydroelectric power plants. I visited the construction site of the Yonagigawa No. 1 Power Plant. The location is Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. This was my first time seeing the actual site, and I was overwhelmed by the power of water. Nagano Prefecture is surrounded by mountains and rich in natural resources, and they are focusing on the development of small hydropower plants utilizing the terrain and rivers.
