We have established a system that allows for short delivery times of large-diameter welded pipe fittings for customers in the western Japan area.
In a wide range of fields such as shipbuilding, plant equipment, and air conditioning systems, large diameter welded pipe fittings are adopted, with sizes ranging from 16B to 20B (400A to 500A) for FSGP (JIS B 2311) and from 14B to 24B (350A to 600A) for stainless steel (JIS B 2313). At Benkan Kiko, based on data obtained from years of delivery performance, we have established a system for stocking frequently delivered sizes and same-day shipping. However, until now, the regular inventory of large-diameter products has only been available at the Ashigara Logistics Center in Kanagawa Prefecture and the Kiryu Factory in Gunma Prefecture. As a result, the delivery of products to customers in the western Japan area, mainly west of Okayama, has taken at least a day and a half, causing inconvenience to our customers. To shorten the lead time for customers in the western Japan area, we have decided to stock large-diameter products at the Amagasaki Warehouse (Fuso, Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture).
