Revolution of Optical Access through the Reuse of Coaxial Drop Cables
Xantus is an innovative and transparent fiber optic extension solution developed by GiaX that enables service providers to deliver up to 10Gbps (symmetrical) over existing coaxial drop cables. By reusing the existing coaxial infrastructure from the tap to the subscriber's home, Xantus addresses one of the cost and time-consuming aspects of fiber network deployment, specifically the last mile of the access network, using existing coaxial cables. This groundbreaking approach allows fiber optic operators and cable television providers to deploy high-speed broadband more quickly and cost-effectively.
