The glass substrate of solar panels faces the issue of decreased power generation efficiency due to the accumulation of rain, sand, dust, and other factors over time. In recent years, foldable film substrate-type (perovskite) solar cells have also been developed, but maintaining and improving power generation efficiency remains important. "Excel Pure," developed by Central Automotive Industry, suppresses light reflection and enhances transmittance through a low-refractive-index coating. As a result, it efficiently captures sunlight, leading to an increase in power generation efficiency, which has received positive feedback. In addition to improving light transmittance, it also offers anti-soiling effects due to hydrophilicity and static electricity prevention, and can be applied to glass, resin, and film substrates.
