It has outstanding chemical resistance and weather resistance, and is used in various fields such as electronic materials like binders for lithium-ion batteries, fishing lines, strings for various string instruments, and valves and linings for electrolytic applications. It does not contain any of the six substances restricted by the RoHS directive.
