Rough surface processing (laser roughening) is equipment that performs rough surface processing inside engine bores using lasers. This is done to enhance the adhesion between the base material and the thermal spray material. By creating a special profile shape on the inner surface of the bore with a laser, it not only generates a higher adhesion compared to conventional mechanical roughening but also allows for a shallower depth of the roughening profile. This not only reduces the cycle time for thermal spraying but also significantly decreases the amount of thermal spray material used. 【Features】 ■ By configuring the equipment in a two-axis structure, simultaneous processing of #1 bore and #3 bore, as well as #2 bore and #4 bore, is possible.
