The CORE-S series is a 5-axis non-contact three-dimensional measuring machine. It can measure at nearly four times the speed of conventional contact-type three-dimensional measuring machines, and even on surfaces with high reflectivity, which optical systems struggle with, it can measure shapes without any coating, and of course, no markings are required. It is ideal for measuring small turbine blades, medical implants, and parts with characteristics such as reflective surfaces and sharp edges. The operation is very simple; just clamp the object to be measured and press a button to start non-contact measurement. The optical sensor enables the measurement of parts with complex geometries and serves as a solution that replaces multi-point measurements using gauges. To allow for the measurement of complex shapes, it is capable of simultaneous 5-axis operation, significantly reducing measurement time compared to contact measuring machines.

WENZEL is a German manufacturer of measuring equipment specializing in coordinate measuring machines with contact and optical sensors, multi-sensor systems, optical high-speed scanning, and computer tomography-based 3D X-ray measurement technology (CT). It is utilized not only in inspection rooms but also on the manufacturing floor to provide direct feedback to the production process. In addition to measuring machines as hardware, it also offers the measurement integration software WM|Quartis.
