iCompact is a vertical multi-tasking machine developed by the German company Buderus. Despite its compact size, it features a vertical design with a main spindle that clamps the workpiece and is equipped with a cross slide. This multi-tasking machine integrates external gear machining, internal diameter grinding, external diameter grinding, hard turning, honing, and in-machine measurement into a compact unit. The machine frame, or bed, is made of natural granite, ensuring high rigidity, vibration damping, and optimal thermal properties for advanced machining stability. Additionally, the DVS-CLEANTEC® provides an energy-efficient, low-emission cleaning solution that separates dirty and clean areas.
