The German company BURKHARDT+WEBER is a manufacturer of ultra-large machining centers that did not previously exist. Until now, the processing of large complex parts has been done using dedicated machines for each process (such as horizontal boring mills, fine boring machines, vertical lathes, and gear cutting machines), but by using large horizontal machining centers, process consolidation can be achieved, ensuring accuracy becomes easier, and 24-hour unmanned operation is possible.

**Series Introduction** MCX Roller Guide Series Classified into eight types capable of a maximum X-axis travel of 4,800 mm and a maximum load of 20,000 kg. MCC Ultra Compact Series The smallest footprint among BW models, this ultra-compact series supports multitasking and offers excellent cost performance through standardization. MCT Multi-Task Series All machining processes—milling, drilling, and turning—can be integrated into a single machining center equipped with CNC-controlled tilt spindles, powerful turning tool holders, and high-speed torque drive tables, consolidating all operations into one machine. MCR Angular Slide Series Equipped with high-performance spindle units as standard, this series features cast iron gantry columns and ultra-wide laser-hardened sliding guides, providing excellent damping characteristics during difficult material machining, making it an ideal solution for all applications requiring heavy cutting. MCµ Ultra High Precision Series This series is designed with a fundamental re-evaluation, pursuing the utmost precision in all component and assembly tolerances, achieving accuracy comparable to precision three-dimensional measuring machines of the same size.
