As the name suggests, coreless motors do not have a core (iron core), making them approximately half the weight and about two-thirds the volume of standard core motors. The characteristics of coreless motors include not only their lightweight and compact size but also the absence of cogging, minimal eddy current losses due to high-speed rotation, resulting in less heat generation even at high speeds, and the motor itself being highly efficient.
