This small DC brushless motor is capable of high-speed rotation and is ideal for medium-sized pumps and medium-sized stirrers. A pump (Dutch: pomp) is a machine used to draw up or send liquids or gases by the action of pressure. It is a type of fluid machinery that generates a pressure difference using mechanical energy and converts it into the kinetic energy of liquids or gases. It is also referred to as a "suction cylinder." The heart of an animal is a type of pump as well. Additionally, the term "pump" may be applied to mechanisms that store or transfer energy, similar to mechanical pumps (such as heat pumps). Pumps can be classified based on their operating principles into non-positive displacement, positive displacement, and special types. Non-positive displacement (turbine) pumps use a rotor with blades. Positive displacement pumps apply pressure through rotating components.
