No need for microchannels! Liquid mixing 'discharge device' using tiny droplets.
Crystallization at low temperatures is possible by mixing small amounts of solution without the need for microchannels!
"InkjetLabo" is a simple and multifunctional inkjet dispensing device. This device allows for the mixing of two or more liquids without the need for microchannels (μTAS). Our inkjet head can accurately place microdroplets on the order of picoliters. For example, when mixing small amounts of two liquids, two of our heads can be used to dispense microdroplets aimed at the same location, enabling solution mixing. Additionally, since the liquid volume is minimal, mixing occurs while drying, allowing for the crystallization or precipitation of particles without heating the substrate, enabling the generation of crystalline films on heat-sensitive substrates. By equipping a standard automatic stage, it is possible to form lines, create thin films, and arrange dots using solutions, and the accompanying dedicated software eliminates the need for complex programming. Furthermore, complex patterning can be handled using BMP files. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
basic information
In the medical field, it can be used for the mixing of minute amounts of drug solutions, precise placement of cells, proteins, and biomaterials, as well as sample introduction to biochips, contributing to research in regenerative medicine and point-of-care testing (POCT). 【Inkjet Dispensing Device Features】 ◆ The introduction of solutions can be done using commercially available syringes, making it very easy to handle. ◆ Patterning can be performed without programming, allowing for very quick setup of experiments. ◆ The device configuration can be customized to specialize in the customer's experiments. ◆ Film formation can be observed in real-time.
