In large AGVs and industrial vehicles powered by batteries, when using AC motors as the power source, inverters and boost circuits are required to convert from DC power to AC, which complicates and enlarges the system configuration. Additionally, the decrease in torque due to battery voltage drop becomes a design concern. To address these challenges, an effective approach is to adopt "high-output DC motors designed to operate directly from a DC battery power source from the outset." Our "low-voltage, high-output coreless motors (CMH series)" are large-capacity brushless motors that can be directly driven by battery power sources such as DC 24V or 48V. They provide strong torque from the moment of startup without the need for additional devices like boost inverters. This motor can be considered as a power source for battery-operated industrial machinery that requires a simple and robust drive system, as well as for replacing three-phase AC motors.
