In January 2020, our compact continuous wave visible light laser "Sapphire" series reached a cumulative shipment of 50,000 units worldwide. This series was introduced to the world as an ideal light source (488nm) for replacing gas lasers, which had issues with energy efficiency, in the life sciences field, successfully entering the market. Since then, we have maximized the advantages of our unique OPSL (Optically Pumped Semiconductor Laser) technology and have continued to expand the wavelength and output models to meet market needs for over 20 years.
